Swimming

1) Kowloon West Area Inter-Primary Schools Swimming Competition

Girls A Grade – Champion

2) The HKSAR Establishment Celebration Swim Meet 2016

The HKSAR Establishment Celebration Swim Meet 2016 was organized by the Hong Kong Swimming Association on 25 th June 2016 in Tai Wan Shan Swimming Pool. Leticia Lee of Pr. 3 participated in the Age group of 7, Girls Division. She came second in 50-metre freestyle and 50-metre backstroke.

3) 12th Hong Kong Synchronized Swimming Open Championships

The Panasonic Pan Asia Synchronized Swimming Championships cum 12th Hong Kong Synchronized Swimming Open Championships 2016 was organized by the Hong Kong Amateur Swimming Association and Leisure and Cultural Services Department from 29th to 31st August 2016 in Kowloon Park Diving Pool. Synchronized swimming teams from Hong Kong, China, Macau, Singapore, Indonesia and Philippines participated in this competition. Natalie Lau (Pr. 6) represented Hong Kong to compete in the Age group of 11 to 12, Girls Division. She and her team mate were the Champion in the Duet Free competition. Natalie and 7 other Hong Kong Team members also competed in the Age group of 12 and under. The Hong Kong team came second in the Free Team competition.

4) National Swimming Age Group Championships (Taiwan)

National Swimming Age Group Championships (Taiwan) was organized by Chinese Taipei Swimming Association on 16th – 19th June 2017 in Taiwan, Taipei, University of Taipei Swimming Pool. 
Events & Results
Girls 11-12 age 50 Metre Breastroke, came Second
Girls 11-12 age 100 Metre Breastroke, came Second
Girls 11-12 age 4 x 50 Metre Free Style Relay, Hong Kong Team was the Champion and break record

Tennis

Inter-School Tennis Competition

Inter-School Tennis Competition was organized by the Hong Kong Schools Sports Federation. Altogether there were 40 tennis playersin A Grade. Our A Grade tennis team came fourth in their session. Team members are Pr. 6 Alicia Cheng, Rita Yu and Pr. 5 Bernice Yiu.

Volleyball

1) Kowloon West Area Inter-school Volleyball Competition 2017

Kowloon West Area Inter -school Volleyball Competition is organized by Hong Kong Schools Sports Federation. Altogether there were 20 teams. They were divided into 6 groups.
Our school volleyball team was the champion in this competition.

2) Primary Athletes Volleyball Competition, organised by Volleyball Association of Hong Kong, China and the Leisure and Cultural Services Department:

Leung Hiu Kei (Pr. 6) and her teammates came third.
She also completed the Primary Athletes Volleyball Training Scheme 2016.

Badminton

Kowloon West Area Inter-Primary Schools Badminton Competition 2016-2017

Kowloon West Area Inter Primary Schools Badminton Competition is organized by Hong Kong Schools Sports Federation. Altogether there were 20 teams. They were divided into 6 groups. Our school team competed really well, earning the chance to compete in the semi-finals amongst 12 teams. DGJS came third.

The School was awarded the Gold Cup for outstanding overall sports achievements in the Kowloon West District for the 2016/2017 school year. A special Gold Cup was also awarded to the School for being the Overall Champion for twenty-eight consecutive years.
