Primary 3 Gold Coast Hotel Green Journey Outing

The Primary 3 classes visited the Gold Coast Hotel to learn about sustainability practices in a hotel setting. They explored upcycling themed rooms, observed the ORCA food waste processing machine, and discovered walking paths made from recycled bricks. The students also discovered the hotel’s sustainable policies, such as providing glass containers for guests to collect water instead of using disposable plastic bottles. This excursion aligns with their ongoing GSI curriculum which focuses on pollution and sustainable practices.
