The School invites applications for the following positions with effect from 1st September 2026:

1.Instrumental Class Tutors (Cello, Trumpet, Lower Brass, Flute)

Description:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or above in Music or equivalent
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in teaching the relevant instrument
  • Holder of ABRSM grade 8 or above for the relevant instrument
  • Performing experience with Western Orchestra preferred

2.Instrumental Class Tutors (Dizi and pipa)

Description:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or above in Music or equivalent
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in teaching the relevant instrument
  • Holder of Central Conservatory of Music Practical Exam Grade 9 or above for the relevant instrument
  • Performing experience with Chinese Orchestra preferred

3.Lower strings instructor for Symphony Orchestra

Job Description & Responsibilities:

  1. Teach children musical knowledge and also orchestral knowledge of suitable repertoire and demonstrate respective skills
  2. Develop the curriculum with the conductor
  3. Cooperate with conductor during weekly rehearsals in Symphony Orchestra
  4. Organize and manage sectional rehearsals
  5. Offer musical and educational feedback to students and parents as appropriate

Requirements:

  1. Hold a Bachelor’s degree or above in Music or equivalent
  2. Minimum level of ATCL/ARSM in respective instruments or in equal level
  3. Basic conducting technique is required
  4. Passionate in music and teaching, and willing to spend extensive hours training with students when needed
  5. A minimum of 4 years of experience in teaching children with minimal music experience and orchestral experience
  6. Strong interpersonal skills to direct students and offer helpful feedback
  7. Capability to manage various learning behavior or attitude
  8. Enthusiasm for children education
  9. Performing experience with Western Orchestra preferred

4.誠聘中樂音樂導師 (笛子或琵琶)

  1. 持有獲認可音樂機構頒發的音樂文憑/ 院士文憑 / 高級院士文憑 ；或具同等學歷
  2. 具四年或以上教導有關樂器的經驗
  3. 具有中央音樂學院音樂水平等級術科考級九級或以上；或具同等學歷
  4. 具中樂團演出經驗者優先考慮
