2526 Primary 1-6 Police talk – Theft is a serious crime

Two police sergeants from the Yau Tsim Police District addressed the students on the legal consequences of theft. Using case studies, they explained that theft is a criminal offense that carries criminal liability and urged students not to yield to momentary greed that could lead them to break the law. They emphasized that individuals found guilty of theft will be held criminally responsible. The officers also advised students to safeguard their belongings to reduce opportunities for theft.
