Geneva Inventions Tour
For the second time, a group of 15 primary 5 and 6 students proudly participated in the prestigious International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva, a grand annual event in the global invention community. The exhibition showcased approximately 1,050 inventions from around 35 countries and regions, providing a global platform for innovation. DGJS made history as the first primary school from Hong Kong to win a gold medal with the congratulations of the jury. The Health Team received this distinguished award, while the Sports Team earned a bronze medal. This marks another significant accomplishment for DGJS students at this renowned event.
Beyond the exhibition, our students immersed themselves in Geneva’s rich culture and breathtaking sights. They indulged in delicious Swiss cheese fondue, marvelled at the stunning glaciers, and even visited CERN—the world-renowned centre for scientific research—where they learned about the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the most powerful particle accelerator on Earth!
