The session brought learning to life as passionate and knowledgeable handlers introduced the girls to a variety of fascinating animal ambassadors. The experience was truly multi-sensory and personal, allowing students to move beyond textbook pictures to have safe, up-close encounters with the animals. They could feel the surprisingly rough, scaly skin of a chameleon and the cool, moist touch of an African Bullfrog.
