International Competitions and Assessments for Schools 2011, organized by the University of New South Wales:

117 students from Primary 3-6 participated in the English Assessment.  68 students (58.1%) were awarded Certificates of High Distinction and 49 students (41.9%) were awarded Certificates of Distinction.

32 students from Pr. 3-6 participated in the English Writing Assessment.  13 students (40.6%) were awarded Certificates of High Distinction.  18 students (56.3%) were awarded Certificates of Distinction and 1 student (3.1%) was awarded Certificate of Credit.

Mathematics in English
107 students from Pr. 3 to Pr. 6 participated in the Mathematics Assessment. 17 students were awarded Certificates of High Distinction, 44 students were awarded Certificates of Distinction and 43 students were awarded Certificates of Credit.

Science in English
19 students from Pr. 6 participated in the Science in English Assessment.  2 students were awarded Certificates of High Distinction, 8 students were awarded Certificates of Distinction, and 6 students were awarded Certificates of Credit.

The Shakespeare4All 2010 annual gala performance of Twelfth Night was organized on 11th and 12th September 2010 at the Kwai Tsing Theatre Auditorium.  Six of our girls were selected with 2 of them playing the main roles.  They worked with a team of professionals and students from 5 other schools in staging this adaptation of one of Shakespeare’s plays.

In the Hong Kong Young Writers Awards 2011, the work of Anson Chan (Pr. 4) was published in ‘New Tales of The Silk Road, the 2011 Hong Kong Young Writers Awards Anthology’.
