Numeracy

Due to the changes in society and the drastic development in technology, the Mathematics curriculum does not only aim at achieving the goals in learning mathematical knowledge and skills, but also emphasizes on the appropriate use of information technology in mathematics learning. Computer-assisted teaching materials are widely used at the School; and Mathematics-IT lessons for Primary One to Primary Six students have been integrated with teaching and learning wherever and whenever appropriate. Some Mathematics IT platforms are also introduced to students for their independent practising at home.

In order to cater the needs of students with different abilities, a Mathematics Club has been carried out as an extra-curricular activity for Primary Four to Primary Six students on its aim to provoking the interest and developing the potential of students who are keen in Mathematics. Students are encouraged to take part in various national and international competitions so that they can have more chances to face different challenges.
