P6 Macau Educational Visit

On 12th December 2014, a Macau educational visit was arranged for our Primary Six students to deepen their knowledge and understanding of Macau, the other Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China besides Hong Kong. They visited a lot of places in Macau such as Guia Fortress and the Lighthouse, Science Centre, Taipa Houses Museum and the Chapel of St. Francis Xavier. Before the visit, GS2 teachers prepared some questions about the different aspects of Macau, such as the history of Macau and the architectural features of old Portuguese buildings. Some mobile apps and websites were introduced in ICT lessons so that our girls could prepare and read information about Macau in advance. During the visit, our girls were divided into groups and they used the assigned iPads to find information and take photos. The girls enjoyed the wonderful and interesting trip for the day.
